      • AVOID ALL PRO TRANSMISSION AT ALL COSTS!
      • I've never considered myself one to write a review... but I want everyone to know they need to avoid All Pro Transmission on MLK Blvd. in Dalton. They may also be known as Atlas Transmission or Randy's Transmission. We took our car to All Pro, and spoke with Randy. We were looking at $2,375 in repairs. We signed the agreement and the work began (we think). They called us a week later to notify us that the car was ready to be picked up. We explained that we would have the money in a few days, and understood that they would charge us a $25 a day "storage fee" until we paid in full. That was on a Monday. On Thursday morning, we called Randy to let him know we were coming to get the car. We were told that the car was not on the property. It had been taken to an impound lot so it was safe. We asked what impound lot, and Randy told us he didn't know and there was nothing he could do, except call the "owner" Linda Sue Hayes. Of course, she didn't answer, and didn't get back to us until late Thursday afternoon. Apparently this woman searched our car, found our car loan information, and CALLED our bank!!! According to the bank, Linda Sue Hayes called them on Wednesday and told them our car had been at her shop for 3 weeks (LIE! in was there for a week and a half getting repaired) and we owed her $3,600 (LIE! the bill was for $2,375) and that we had abandoned the car (LIE! she knew the situation UP FRONT). I was told by Linda that the bank was repossessing the car and she was ordered not to turn the car over to us (LIE!). After getting the truth from the bank, threatening to file charges, etc. Linda called to tell me we could come get the car. Then she had the audacity to tell me she was charging us an extra $25 dollars for her "time and effort." Of course, I refused. Now, we are stuck with a car that may or may not be fixed, and one that has dozens more miles on it than when we dropped it off. It appears that Ms. Hayes was joy-riding in our car before giving it back. Needless to say... DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE CROOKS AND LIARS! (smillsaps, 04/02/2009)
